California Rolls Out Welcome Mat for Caravan of Illegals, Texas Has Terrifying Surprise Waiting

Earlier this week, a caravan of more than 1,000 migrants made its way across Mexico, filled with Central Americans looking to enter the United States of America illegally. While it remains unknown exactly where and when they will try to enter America, we can assume officials in California will welcome them into one of their sanctuary cities if and when they try to enter the United States. With that in mind, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott sent out a warning message to any and all government officials seeking to help these criminals.

In a tweet posted Sunday, Gov. Greg Abbott sent out a reminder that it’s not just U.S. Customs and Border Patrol agents protecting the entry points to Texas along with its 28 million people. According to Gov. Abbott, he has also deployed National Guard Troops in the past for additional protection and may in fact do that same thing again here.

“Organized by a group of volunteers called Pueblos Sin Fronteras, or People Without Borders, the caravan is intended to help migrants safely reach the United States, bypassing not only authorities who would seek to deport them, but gangs and cartels who are known to assault vulnerable migrants,” wrote BuzzFeed reporter Adolfo Flores, who is traveling with the caravan.

“Organizers … hope that the sheer size of the crowd will give immigration authorities and criminals pause before trying to stop them,” he added.

According to Buzzfeed’s Adolfo Flores, over the weekend the caravan was in the Mexican town of Santiago Niltepec, roughly 900 miles from Brownsville, Texas, the closest point on the U.S. border.

Earlier this week on “Fox & Friends,” former Secret Service agent and Maryland congressional candidate Dan Bongino described the caravan as “complete, total, utter chaos.” Well, what else would you expect, Dan?

“There is a consequence for us, Americans who have to finance this chaos,” Bongino said. “You can’t have a country without borders. It’s just a land mass without the borders.”

The genius idea to publicize the caravan filled with criminals or soon to be criminals has prompted the attention of President Donald Trump. As a result, he issued a series of tweets over the past few days blasting Mexico for not stopping the flow of migrants into their country. Further, he also rightfully criticized Democrats for not taking the issue of border security more seriously.

According to statistics from Customs and Border Patrol, the number of people arrested for attempting to enter the country illegally was more than 58,000 in President Barack Obama’s last full month in office. In the first full month of the Trump administration, the number dropped to a little more than 23,500. By April of last year, the number had dropped to fewer than 16,000, proving that President Trump’s threats, although they might seem feeble at times, are actually quite an effective scare tactic in discouraging illegals from attempting to illegally enter the United States.

However, the number of apprehended illegal border crossers increased in the second half of last year and peaked at more than 40,000 in December. So this is a rising concern for President Trump and his administration, and it should be for all of your as well!
